Seven is an upbeat lounge. It has crushed velvet benches to lounge in and
funky purple walls. It is different than any Austin bar. Some of the
furniture is from the 1950's space age and some of the art has a 70's
retro flare. The building was built in 1860 and was an actual brothel until
the late 1930's then again in the 1950's. The downstairs,
which is currently under construction for a VIP area, is haunted. The
bar is registered with the historical commission as an Austin Ghosthouse.
In a recent publication, they placed as the second most "Ghost Visited"
site.
