The Orbit Lounge is home to the up-and-coming newer breed of dance music and DJs. Located above Buffalo Billiards, it brings a little class to the dance club variety of Sixth Street. Picture yourself sitting in a living room with big plush couches, hardwood floors, throw rugs and antique-like furniture. The bar is small and set back in the corner of the room, with a few cocktail tables sprinkled throughout. The DJ booth is across a large dance floor and on the way out to the balcony, which over looks the mayhem below. Large windows are masked with chiffon drapings and every attention to detail invites romance, good conversation and a little mischief, with every excuse to dance.
Along with local resident talent, The Orbit Lounge will also be inviting guest DJs and producers, making the ever-changing and growing electronic music scene accessible to those who crave the newest sound. |
